Register now for SOSL Day. Join us for a day of community and healing!
SOSL Day is an event focused on hope and healing. We start the morning with an opening talk. We then move into a Question/Answer panel comprised of people who have lost loved ones to suicide. The event is an opportunity to learn from others who have walked this path before us. After a catered lunch, participants break out into facilitated support groups based on your type of loss – child, spouse, sibling, friend, parent, etc.
It is rarely that we in the survivor community have an opportunity to meet and talk with others who share a similar loss. The theme for this year is “Hope Springs: Healing Happens.” Participants will hear how others have found healing and hope after a suicide loss. We have much to learn from one another. Research shows being a part of a supportive community offers acceptance, comfort, and encouragement. These are important in the healing process.
SOSL Day brings survivors together to help each other on our respective journeys. We are on to the goal of living with hope once again.
