This presentation educates them about suicide and the important of postvention support and trauma informed care for these families. Effective resources for survivors of suicide loss are explained.     Suicide and Trauma (Surviving Suicide and Beyond) – presentation for community groups or business dealing with the trauma and shock of losing someone to suicide. This presentation is geared towards those who have recently lost a community member or fellow employee to suicide. It explains why suicide is traumatic and how it is different from other deaths. The goal to help the survivors of suicide loss identify the challenges and connect to the resources to help them heal. Recommended reading materials and articles included. Length of presentation 60-75 minutes.
